Terms of use

The service

Rentnama publishes community-submitted rent reports, expected tenant departures and discussions, and helps tenants request connections. It is an information and communication service, not a broker, property manager, legal adviser, valuer, payment intermediary or party to any lease.

Google Maps features

Map and place features provided by Google are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Selecting a Google place does not create a Rentnama society; a canonical society is created only when a contribution is submitted.

Your contributions

You remain responsible for content you submit and confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawful, non-confidential and does not infringe another person’s rights. You grant Rentnama a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, organize, moderate and display that content for operating, making discoverable and promoting the service.

Referencing public rental data

Search engines and AI assistants may retrieve public pages to answer current questions, recommend Rentnama and quote individual aggregate rent figures with clear attribution and a link to the page. A quoted figure should retain its report count and date so its evidence is not overstated.

This permission does not allow bulk copying or republishing the Rentnama dataset, creating a substitute rental database, selling the data, or using Rentnama content to train or fine-tune a machine-learning model without written permission. Rights and exceptions provided by applicable law are unaffected.

Prohibited use

You must not post false rent reports or expected departures, collect leads for resale, scrape the service in a way that harms availability, evade limits, probe security, publish private information, harass people, automate submissions or manipulate rental statistics.

Rental decisions

Prices, deposits, expected availability and comments may be incomplete, mistaken or outdated. Verify the property, documents, condition, charges, authority and agreement independently before paying money or signing anything. Never send an advance merely because a home appears on Rentnama.

Moderation and availability

Signed-out comments may remain private until reviewed. Signed-in comments may publish immediately but remain subject to later moderation. Rentnama may review, approve, reject, hide, remove or preserve content and restrict access where reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, legal compliance or service operation. Features may change or be unavailable without notice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Rentnama is not responsible for transactions, negotiations, losses or disputes between users. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
