Keep it about the place
Building conversations are for facts and lived experience that help a renter understand the place: maintenance, water, access, recurring issues, move-in realities and useful questions. They are not a place to publish private contact details or target another person.
Posting and replying
You can start a public comment or reply to an existing one. Replies are kept to a readable depth, and the conversation remains useful even if a parent comment later has to be hidden. If sign-in or posting fails, the product tries to preserve what you wrote so you do not have to start again.
What votes do
Votes help useful root comments rise within a building conversation. Replies stay chronological so back-and-forth discussion still makes sense. A vote is a community signal, not proof that a factual claim has been independently verified.
