Pass on your home

How a verified resident can publish, update, pause or withdraw an upcoming home.

Last updated 6 August 2026

Who can publish

Publishing a Next home requires a signed-in account and a verified phone number. Verification raises the cost of pretending to be a resident, while the phone number itself remains private.

Facts, not a listing pitch

The flow asks for facts a resident can reasonably know: home details, the expected move-out window, how certain availability is, the location and relevant owner context. It is not an invitation to advertise on an owner’s behalf or promise terms you cannot control.

Keep it current

You can reconfirm the home when the plan is still current, pause it when the situation is uncertain or withdraw it when it is no longer available. An unfamiliar residential place is not treated as a settled public building merely because someone typed a name; resident and place checks come first.
