Search for a place
Search accepts a building, society, locality or city. It prefers places that already have Rentnama evidence, understands common aliases and can use supported map links or coordinates. Place search stays within India.
You can search from the home page without choosing a city first. If you already know the society you are asking about, that is the fastest route to its answer, browsing a city is the longer way round. Where two places share a name, results show the locality and address so you can tell them apart before opening one.
Read the map
A marker represents public evidence near that place. At wider map views, nearby markers are grouped so the screen stays readable. Open the group or zoom in to see its members.
Grouping is presentation, not calculation. It does not delete buildings or turn neighbouring localities into one rental market.
Use filters carefully
Filters narrow both the visible homes and the calculation. Building type and home type make the strongest first cut because they separate different residential settings and layouts. Budget filters are useful for discovery, but a very narrow filter may leave too little evidence for a reliable comparison.
